What’s Happening with the HOZ Justice Ministry:
Who we are:
The mission of HOZ’s Justice Program is to establish biblical justice through love for God and love for others. We see this generation partnered with Jesus Christ in intercessory worship, the raising of awareness, and works of service to release Biblical justice to the needy and experience reformation in government and all spheres of society through spiritual awakening. To accomplish this vision, we focus on 5 key areas:
- Caring for the orphan and the widow
- Affecting the end of abortion
- Kickstarting a vibrant and sustained adoption movement
- Affecting the end of human trafficking
- Supporting and caring for Israel
Everything we do in the HOZ Justice program begins and ends in the place of prayer. This does not negate works of service, but provides a context for these efforts as we partner with Jesus and His justice being released on the earth.
Justice Prayer Set:
Justice Set: Did you know that there are more slaves on the earth today than at any point in human history? Join us in the prayer room each week, for our justice prayer set, focused on worship and prayer for justice issues in our city. Date and time forthcoming.
Bound4LIFE-HOZ Chapter:
works for the ending of abortion, the increase of adoptions, and the reformation of government and society through spiritual awakening. Monthly prayer-sieges occur outside abortion clinics. A Silent Siege is building up a wall and standing in the gap on behalf of our nation (Ezekiel 4:2-3; 22:30). This stand is not a protest, but a silent prayer meeting, in which an appeal is made to the Judge of the earth and to ask Him for speedy justice to be released.
Exodus Cry-HOZ Chapter:
works for the ending of human trafficking and the restoration of those caught in the web of the sex industry. It seeks to bring widespread awareness on the issues of modern slavery while reaching out to those caught in the sex industry.
We have also partnered with two ministries that share our heart to see biblical justice released in our city:
Get Involved for Life:
Get Involved for Life: includes the Downtown Pregnancy Center, Uptown Women’s Center and the Save the Storks ministry to reach women and their families with the hope of the Gospel and the message to “choose life.”
White Rose Movement:
reaches women working in the sex industry by going to the streets of our cities, as well as local strip clubs and brothels. In love, participants serve the women food, give them gifts and pedicures while offering spiritual counsel and social services to those in need.
Outreach:
Outreach teams are taking the kingdom of God to the homeless, poor, and the oppressed, and we would love to have you join us as we share the love of Jesus with our city.
